What if I operate outside the UK?

All the information contained on the website and in Pro Operator magazine, is written for UK sprayer operators and may not be applicable outside the UK where different rules and regulations apply. You must obtain professional, specialist advice before taking, or refraining from taking, any action on the basis of any content when operating spraying equipment in any country.



Why can’t I see my NRoSO membership profile?

This website is called Ei OPERATOR and offers CPD training accredited by NRoSO/City & Guilds. We will send NRoSO any CPD points you earn by using our on-line training, directly to them, so you don’t have to. This will be done automatically, but to view your NRoSO profile you will need to log on to their website. You can find this at https://www.nroso.org.uk/member/default.aspx


How will NRoSO know I have earned CPD points?

We will send them an update within 30 days of successfully passing a training course.


What do I do if NRoSO haven’t updated my record?

Please allow 40 days from passing any tests. If the points still aren’t added, contact them direct and send them a screenshot of your profile page. You can visit their website at www.nroso.org.uk or contact them as follows:

How long will be my points be valid?

CPD points acquired on the EiO website will be valid for 12 months from the date you pass the training module.


Can I earn NRoSO Points if I live outside the UK?

Currently the CPD structure is only valid for UK sprayer operators who are registered with the National Register of Sprayer Operators (NRoSO).


How many NRoSO points can I get?

There are up to 8 NRoSO points in total.

  • FREE NRoSO course = 2 points
  • 3 x EiO subscriber only courses = 6 points (2 per course)



BASIS points:

Can I earn BASIS points on the EiO website?

Yes, if you are a member of their Professional Register, by adding your membership number you can access up to 12 points

  • NRoSO members area = 2 points for online training
  • EiO Subscription = 2 points
  • EiO subscriber only courses = 6 points (2 per course)
  • Pro Operator magazine subscription = 2 points (excludes NRoSO members getting it free of charge)


I joined the website before the BASIS points were accredited – how can I add them to my BASIS membership?

Whilst we cannot back date these points automatically, if you get in touch via our CONTACT page, we can make sure you don’t miss out.




Can I sit the same training module twice?

Yes, until you pass the test and then you have to wait 12 months before being able to re-sit it.


Can I do the on-line training if I live outside the UK?

Yes, but the CPD points will not apply outside the UK


What happens if I fail a training course?

You can sit it as many times as you like, but we recommend making sure you maximise your chances of passing first time, by ensuring you have read the pre-course information, watching any videos if they are available and reading all essential information.


What happens if I pass a training course?

If you are a NRoSO or BASIS member, we will let them know so they can update their CPD record for you.




I’m a NRoSO member, do I need to pay to access the whole of the Ei OPERATOR website?

Currently NRoSO members have access to the NRoSO pages, Pro Operator, and News Pages free of charge. The rest of the website is subscription only at £30 per year for UK subscribers


What currency can I pay with?

Currently we only accept payment in British Sterling pounds


How much does the Ei Operator membership cost?

The annual fee is £30 per year for UK operators. It is £30.75 outside the UK


Can I get a receipt?

You will get a confirmation email when you subscribe which includes all the information you require and you can also see your purchases on your Profile page.


Will I be charged VAT?

Magazines are not subject to VAT but digital subscriptions are. If you are an EU customer, VAT will be included in the price you pay for EiO membership both in the UK and in the rest of the EU.

Customers outside the EU will not incur any VAT.
